LUNC and USTC prices surged as the Terra Luna Classic community unanimously approved a significant proposal aimed at revitalizing LUNC and USTC in the process. The proposal sought community approval for the on-chain deployment of the terrad client v2.3.1, involving the merging of the dynamic validator commission module. Terra Luna Classic Proposal 11885 Approved by Community
Proposal 11885, "Solution to Sequence Mismatch Issues," sought community approval for the on-chain deployment of the terrad client v2.3.1. Notably, this update addressed critical issues related to the dyncomm ante decorator and account sequences. Voting is still ongoing, but the proposal passed within just one day.
Last week, the community approved the introduction of the dyncomm module with v2.3.0, integrating protocol logic for determining the minimum validator commission based on voting power. However, L1TF lead Vinh Nguyen reported "critical issues related to sequence mismatch that affected some validators during the committee editing period. This sequence mismatch issue led to certain accounts being barred from further interactions with the chain."
CoinGape Media previously reported that Terra Luna Classic's core developer L1TF formally approved the dyncomm module for dynamic validator commission.
The proposal garnered 99.96% support from the Terra Luna Classic community, with the majority coming from top validators. Of the 30 validators currently voting, all 30 voted in favor. This includes validators such as Allnodes, Interstellar Lounge, Orion, StakeBin, and JESUSisLORD.
Sudden Surge in Terra Ecosystem Tokens
LUNC's price surged by over 25% in the past 24 hours, currently trading at $0.000098. The 24-hour low and high prices were $0.0000787 and $0.0001048, respectively. Additionally, trading volume increased by 112% over the past 24 hours, indicating heightened interest from traders.
The USTC price is trading at $0.048, marking a 200% increase in the past 24 hours. The 24-hour low and high prices were $0.015 and $0.045, respectively. Trading volume also saw a significant increase.
Meanwhile, LUNA's price also rose by 15% in the past 24 hours, currently standing at $0.77. The 24-hour low and high prices were $0.6587 and $0.8265, respectively. However, trading volume surged by 400%.
